Traffic Accident Involving Anthony Joshua in Ogun Claims Two Lives

International boxing star Anthony Joshua was involved in a traffic accident on Monday in Makun, Ogun State.

The crash took place along the heavily trafficked Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Joshua was traveling in a Lexus Jeep bearing registration number KRD 850 HN when the vehicle reportedly rammed into a parked truck, with the exact circumstances still under investigation.

According to PUNCH, a witness disclosed that the accident occurred shortly before Danco Filling Station in Makun, ahead of the Sagamu Interchange along the Ibadan-bound section of the expressway.

The eyewitness said two persons lost their lives at the scene, while the boxer was said to have sustained minor injuries.

As of the time of filing this report, authorities have not released an official statement on the incident.
