Over 40 killed as Isreali forces intensify attack on Palestinians after Ceasefire Announcement

Following the announcement of a ceasefire, Israeli forces have escalated their attacks on Palestinians, resulting in the deaths of over 40 individuals.

Israeli forces have intensified their bombardment of the Gaza Strip after mediators announced that a ceasefire deal has been struck.

Al Jazeera reports that the intensified bombardment has resulted in the deaths of at least 40 Palestinians, a significant number of whom were children.

Israeli forces also conducted an air strike on an apartment building within the Nuseirat refugee camp, situated in the heart of Gaza.

The attack resulted in the deaths of a minimum of two individuals, as reported by the Palestinian Information Center and the Quds News Network.

This follows an earlier report about an Israeli attack on a residential building in the Nuseirat camp which killed at least one person.

It is not immediately clear if these are separate incidents.
