iDeemlawfulA mother of three has reportedly been kidnapped in Abuja while heading to her boyfriend’s house after telling her husband she was travelling to Ibadan.
An X (formerly Twitter) user, @bolanlecole, who shared the story, said the woman secretly travelled to Abuja to meet her boyfriend.
While on the road, she was allegedly taken by kidnappers who demanded a ransom of N50 million.
According to the post, her boyfriend could not raise the amount, and her husband declined to pay, even as their children were said to have pleaded with him for help.
The incident has reportedly left the children upset as they begged their father to settle the ransom to secure their mother’s freedom.
The post read: “Mother of 3 told her husband she was going to Ibadan, travelled to Abuja to see her boyfriend. Was kidnapped at Abuja, demanded for 50m ransom. Lover cannot raise it, husband refused to pay. Children are begging him to pay, please advise him.”
In a similar incident, a Nigerian doctor, Abdul Ganiyu Oseni, raised an alarm online after kidnappers seized his pregnant sister and her husband, Mr and Mrs Zainab Segiru.
He took to X to seek assistance, stating that they were abducted on November 22, 2025.
On his X page @AbdulGaniyuOse1, the doctor said the kidnappers had contacted the family and demanded a ransom of N50 million.
His post read: “My sister and her husband were kidnapped from their house last night. They made contact today and threatening to kill them except we pay a ransom of #50m. Our families can’t afford that to begin with”
