Suspended SU President Faji, Withdraw Lawsuit Against Senate Council, Others

The Student Union court received a motion to dismiss the lawsuit brought by the complaint Faji Tobiloba, the temporarily suspended President of the Student Union.

The suit which was earlier filed against the Senate President and two other people.

Counsel to the complainant, D R Sarumi, filed the withdrawal notice on his behalf and claimed that his client is no longer interested in continuing the lawsuit.

Recall, on April 25th, 2023, the case was previously adjourned indefinitely after Mr. Faji’s attorney suggested an out-of-court settlement would be possible.

Meanwhile, the Student Union court is yet to confirm receipt of the withdrawal notice as filed.
