iDeemlawfulFemi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives has assured that the National Assembly will pass the Electoral Act amendment into law.
Gbajabiamila said the bill will be passed into law once the National Assembly reconvenes from its current recess.
He gave the assurance during a chat with State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to Gbajabiamila: “We will do what is right for the Nigerian people.

Nigerians want it and Nigerians will get it. We may have tarried a little while.
“But by the time we come back, at least as far as the House, and I’m sure the Senate as well, will be the first thing on our agenda, the very week we come back from recess.’’
